My dear Kengkay, Joy, Harvey and Ambo, Maganda, maganda ang mga ideya, exactly gusto ko ito. I for one worked abroad for almost 38 years and I may experience, the whole time being the only Filipino in the company, I had always been a good if not a better example of what I could offer while working with all kinds of expats. I gained all their respect, and many expats learned fom me being a good trainer and giving all the tricks of the trade (sabi nga) and a lot of things I need to explain to them about the height of Abu Sayyaf problems, the people power against Erap and other major local issues that hit both the CNN and the BBC news. Yes people abroad are more watchful about the negative issues about the Philippiens, since they have embedded in their minds that the country's 7,106 islands are generally peaceful paradise with palm frondas on the beaches and the diving spots around Palawan and the perfect cone of Mayon. My British secretary even copied pictures of Philippine scenic spots from the internet and kept in a scrapbook with the hope that on retiring they could visit our country. Some of my fellow expats had been assigned in the country and all they could tell others are memories of cheap quality beers of bars along Ermita not to mention the lovely hookers and hardened transvestites, While riding in jeepneys many been victimmised by pickpockets and dips. They could not help themselves comparing Manila with cities of Jakarta and Bangkok. One good thing I love from them, they found most Pinoys are religious and almost always happy and hospitable. Everytime I returned from my rotqtion leave, I always brought them pasalubongs, like dried mangoes, dried durian (which they make fun off) and would you believe Skyflakes crackers. Some of them would even ask me to bring them souvenirs like embroidered blouses, and shirts, and the good old "barrel man" sculpture. Thank for you time.

pero ang importante at the end of the day, hindi pa rin nila nalilimutan kung sila nanggaling. at magandang project itong post mo kengkay at harvey. will support this by sending this email to my colleagues here in saudi arabia.

kengkay: ang problema kasi e yung iba kapag nangibang bansa, nalimutan na nilang pinoy sila. alam mo yun? e pwede namang tanggikilin ang atin... maraming paraan
