WordCamp is a conference or convention which gives focus on anything related to WordPress. WordCamp is the best venue for WordPress enthusiasts to come together and get updated on the latest. Participants vary from newbie wordpress users/bloggers to adept wordpress developers and programmers.
Para sa mga miyembro ng WPP (WordPress Pinoys) at kahit na hindi man kayo member pero interesado kayo; eto ang para sa inyo:
May email akong nakuha galing kay Chuckie and he wants us to spread na word about WordCamp Philippines 2008. This is the first major (and official) Wordcamp event ever to be held in Asia.
WPP is coming in as a partner. Meaning, merong participation ang WPP on the big event and as Chuckie said ‘WPP will play a vital role in the organization and facilitation of the gathering. We are also tasked to conceptualize other “portions” during the event.’
Kaya sa mga gustong mag volunteer ng kanilang time and talent and whatever ‘volunteerable’ assets, paki-PM lang si chuckie ibigay sa kanya ang inyong contact details.
At nga pala, si Matt Mullenweg ay darating din. Sya lang naman ang big boss ng wordpress Eto pa sabi ni Chucks: ‘Major sponsors are coming in, prizes are to be given away, shirts will be given (and sold) before and during the Wordcamp event.’ At ang balita ko, may libreng t-shirts nga ba? Hehe, balita ko lang yon pero sempre kung kasali kayo, pwede nyong ma confirm kung totoo nga ang balita.
Pero teka, meron ding after-party sa Mag:Net; am sure masaya yon kahit na hindi ko man alam kung saan yang lugar na yan pero yung pangalan pa lang nya e na-magnet na nya ang attenshun ko, corny hmpf.

Pasakalye pa ni Chuckie: ‘It would be nice if you could also start creating some buzz about the event through blog your entires. For those mods and admins of WPP who are currently in Metro Manila and nearby provinces, I would very much appreciate if we could meet up at the soonest time possible to discuss details.’
Uy teka nga pala eto pa isang sabi ni Chuckie: ‘It’ll be much easier to reach me thru cell muna rather than email since I am in the process of changing ISPs. So net surfing and email checking for me is intermittent.’

I think I was one of the first few members of WPP (while still using my wordpress account)kaso I forgotten na my login name/password.
Uunga, what’s with the WORDCAMP? New password protection, plugin use, site traffics, moneytize, google ads, etc etc ba yan?
Personally, di talaga ako attracted sa community online group. You can call me, certified anti-social.
